Finance Manager (Part Time)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Day to day / General Finance: Manage AP and AR Executives

Monitor bank account levels and ensure all accounts are maintained

Supervise daily / weekly & monthly bank reconciliations

Liaise with CEO regarding annual budget

Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns inside deadlines

Payroll:

Produce monthly Payroll reports and submit to HMRC

Make PAYE payments to HMRC

Produce Pension reports and make payments to NEST

Maintain all Payroll and Pension records for company and employees

Management Accounting:

Ensure month end is closed in accordance with set timescales

Maintain accruals / prepayments

Maintain fixed asset register

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

Produce Monthly Management Accounts to set timescale including variance analysis vs budget / reforecast

Dividend information and payment

Year End:

Prepare pre-audit closed accounts

Liaise with external accountants to ensure submissions are within deadlines

Ensure Corp Tax returns and payments are made within deadlineEvent Finance:

Liaise with Event Manager and team regarding each event's individual budget ensuring expenditure remains within agreed limits

Ensure deposits and balancing payments are made on time

Project / Ad-hoc:

Ensure completed projects and systems are still running to optimum level and make any necessary adjustments

Analyse current spending and attempt to find areas where savings can be made with little or no impact to efficiency
