Senior Linux Administrator, RHCE, JBoss
Permanent position based in London EC1.
Degree educated BSc in Computer Science or Equivalent - RHCE, JBoss Training/Certification, Required – LPIC, Optional – SCSA/SCNA/CCNA - Bonus
You will be required to work independently and resolve a variety of queries within established procedures with minimum day to day supervision. Have the confidence to change priorities when required to achieve the required results, in compliance with established methods of working.
To work within the IT Operations team specializing in complete administration and support of Linux servers/applications within the production environment, from 1st to 3rd level capabilities. Ensuring 24/7 availability of all Linux servers associated web sites and applications, Worldwide, meeting all agreed SLA’s.
Implement and support the integration of new initiatives and projects within the production server/ application environment. To understand the shared responsibility of Oracle, Tomcat and Jboss technologies.
Candidates must be within commuting distance of London and have a UK/EU passport or Tier 1 visa.
