Site Manager required by a market leading contractor for specialist design and build fit out projects across Kent Surrey and the London area. Circa £40 salary and genuine chances to progress on to Project Management / Contracts Manager

Our client is a specialist fit out and design and build contractor with an established client base of both private and public businesses who specialise in fit out projects ranging from £500k to £2m plus. They are one of the top contractors in the healthcare industry and work mostly in the london and South East Region.
Due to expansion and a number of new projects coming through our client is looking to recruit a Site Manager to oversee singular projects in the first instance with the potential to progress with the company and manage multiple projects in due course.
The Site Manager will be in charge of the day to day progress of the project and be responsible for the delivery to the client’s specification. As the environment is often ‘live’ the candidate will need to have good client facing skills and have experience of live environments. The candidate will be in charge of running a small team of fitters and carpenters and ultimately reporting into the regional contract manager.
The candidate will need:
• Site Management experience
• SMSTS prefered
• Fit out experience in the commercial environment
• Flexible to travel across the South East Region
• Good client facing skills
• Health and Saftey qualifications
• Able to drive projects, motivate work force
