SALARY :
£30,000-£35,000 BASIC, £10,000-£15,000 OTE, car or allowance, bonus, pension, expenses, petrol card, prospects.

EXPERIENCE :
You need to have sold water treatment services, water hygiene services, chlorination, Acop L8 Assessment, Tank replacements, closed system monitoring, cooling tower monitoring, boiler feed water monitoring or have been selling boiler treatment chemicals, or water softeners, reverse osmosis plant, demineralisation plant to commercial, industrial building owners, with a good understanding of the chemistry involved.


Right - you are probably either stuck in an old established somewhat static water treatment company with little movement and growth - or in a smaller company with limited chances, either way prospects look limited, career wise and salary wise, I may have the solution for you.


I have an established company opened in the early 1980's with all the relevant ISO quality marks and membership of the water management society, who have recently appointed a new highly motivated Regional Manager for the South East, who is determined to make his division number one in the county. What he needs is an excellent team behind him, either experienced people with the drive to make high commissions, or possibly less experienced and needing mentoring to the next stage; either way growth will be swift.


The company sell water hygiene monitoring, remedial works including flushing, tank cleaning, chlorination, close system monitoring and dosing for PH levels, TDS, TVC, ensuring inhibitor levels are maintained, cooling tower maintenance, disinfection and periodic cleaning with a team of Risk Assessors and Engineers backing you up.


Your role is to take over the established accounts on the patch, establish yourself with them and where possible grow the business. As time goes by you will also need to systematically call on all the potential business in the area looking for new account growth.
