POSITION :
Health and Safety Manager

SALARY :
£33,000 basic, bonus, company car, expenses, 25 days paid holiday, lunch allowances, share scheme, excellent pension, private health plan after qualifying period.
LOCATION :
London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Bedfordshire, Oxon, Cambridge.
EXPERIENCE :
You must currently be a Health and Safety Advisor with at least NEBOSH Diploma, with a working knowledge of waste water, effluent, chemical or the energy industry. Full U.K. driving licence, able to travel and meticulous in your role.
OPPORTUNITY :
The company is a multi-million international business with many different divisions some of which can be quite specialised. This side of the business has a special interest in waste water, industrial effluent and outflows from manufacturing.
Your role encompasses the total health and safety for the division, working closely with the operations, maintenance and project teams, however, you may be seconded from time to time to other divisions, specific tasks include reviewing current health and safety documentation, field visits to view compliance with policy's, accident or incident investigations, developing emergency preparedness plans, keeping up to date with relevant legislation, training the team, occasionally identifying need for external training, occasionally you may be called upon to give briefings, complete regular site inspections across the U.K., audits and to form an out of hours emergency response framework for major incidents.
You will currently be NEBOSH Diploma qualified with Sheq experience, specific experience of CoMAH, Risk Assessments, COSHH, ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 are desirable.
Location is not a bar to the role as you will be working from home, however, you will need a full driving licence and be free to stay away when necessary.
