Health and Safety Manager required. £50 - £60k basic salary plus healthcare, pension and company car or allowance.
Our client is a interior and exterior fit out specialist working across the South East region.
They are currently looking for a Health and Safety manager with extensive experience in developing and implementing Health, Safety and Environmental best practice, to ensure the Company complies with current health and safety legislation. They will be working proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for all relevant stakeholders
Duties will include:
•Strategic planning and responsibility of driving the Health, Safety and Environmental agenda for the entire business
•Producing & implementing strategic plans
•Building and embedding a culture of Health, Safety and Environmental awareness in the Company
Candidate requirements:
Will need IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications.
• Previous experience in Health and Safety at management level.
• Demonstrable competence in the implementation of short to medium term improvement plans
• Proven leadership skills particularly in the management of change
• Proactive attitude and approach.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload.
• Ability to Travel / Current Valid Driving Licence.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good reporting and writing skills.
• Must have effective influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Must have experience of supporting line managers in discharging their health and safety responsibilities.
• Previous experience in Construction.
• Willing to travel.
