Our client is a leading software company.
Main Duties
Deliver a complete software development service including the design, development, testing, release management and maintenance of software solutions.
Use technical and development skills to investigate and resolve software issues.
Develop and maintain enterprise management tools that will be used by customers, deployment teams, help desk staff and development teams.
Develop and maintain the core components including the Kernel, Communication and System Management modules.
Assist with the mentoring of junior team members to improve their development skills, domain knowledge and product knowledge.
Work with the Team Leader to improve development processes, practices and procedures.
Work with other development and project teams from time-to-time to share technical expertise and deliver software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience: -
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of developing commercial applications within a busy team atmosphere of which 3 years must be using C#
Extensive knowledge of Winforms and/or WPF development
Fully conversant with Object Orientated Design and Programming.
Extensive knowledge of the .NET framework (v2.0 or later)
Skilled in relational database design and development
Experience developing N-Tier applications highly desirable
Experience with the DevExpress component library advantageous
Experience developing complex client/server applications desirable
Microsoft Certification desirable.
Knowledge of the following is desirable:
Health care and Clinical systems
Microsoft SQL 2008
XML
WCF
