The prime role of the AC Engineer will be to provide mobile maintenance and service support to AC installations within client premises mainly in the South of England. Additionally the role may involve either the replacement existing services and or the installation of new a service. The role will also require the engineer to undertake general caretaker services as and when necessary.
This position will be covers commercial contracts across various sites mainly across London and the South East. You will assist in the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on sites, reactive visits to report / resolve faults on sites and electrical testing and reports on equipment / installations.
The Engineer will have qualifications in the Air Conditioning industry including F Gas, and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of maintenance and installation of a variety of Air Conditioning equipment specifically Splits, VRV’s and DX units. The engineer will also have Electrical qualifications and experience of installation of electrical circuits and fault finding.
Specific qualifications:
• F Gas/C&G/NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Safe Handling of Refrigerants/F-Gas certification
• A proven track record of conducting service, maintenance, fault finding and breakdown works to Splits, VRV’s, VAV’s and DX Units
• A clean UK drivers licence
• 17th Edition
Additional qualifications may include;
• Abrasive wheels
• PASMA/IPAF
• First Aid
