IT Risk and Governance Analyst
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the administration of IT Governance activities including IT risk management and the management of audits across IT.
The role will also involve technical and non-technical risk management assignments, suiting an individual who is keen to learn, has a pragmatic attitude and a desire to actively contribute to a developing IT Governance function.
This is a new role sitting within the IT Governance function alongside IT Security and Contracts and Procurement teams, where you will be supporting the Senior Manager of IT Security Risk and Governance in developing a risk culture throughout IT. You will be expected to work closely with all IT teams and the governance functions in managing and tracking risk and audit actions, scheduling audits, providing appropriate management information on IT's risks and audit actions.
What you will need
* Relevant experience of working with or in a banking or financial services environment, specifically in relation to the day to day administration of information security or IT operational risks.
* You will have a good understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to the storage, transfer, and processing of sensitive data, and an appreciation of changing regulations and other pressures impacting on the running of a bank.
* Coming from a technical background, you will have an understanding and hands-on experience of core Microsoft technologies and networking. Any knowledge of COBIT and ISO27005 risk frameworks would be a distinct advantage.
* Most importantly you will have a flexible approach and recognise the importance of valuing the views and opinions of others, delivering value by working collaboratively.
